Cookie policy
DarkFrame Games uses your browser's storage (cookies and "local storage") to keep the site working. Optional analytics and advertising stay off unless you turn them on.
What cookies and local storage are
Cookies and local storage are small pieces of information a website saves in your browser. We use local storage, which stays on your device and isn't sent to us with every page.
Essential (always on)
The site can't work without these, so they don't need your consent. They're never used for tracking or ads.
| Name | What it does | How long |
|---|---|---|
site-session | Remembers which account is logged in | Until you log out |
site-accounts | Accounts saved on this device (preview accounts) | Until cleared |
site-coins, site-profile, site-ledger | Guest coins, game progress and coin history | Until cleared |
site-u-… | The same for each logged-in account, plus its profile picture | Until cleared |
site-resets | Password reset links (preview mode) | 30 minutes |
site-consent | Remembers your cookie choices | Until cleared |
site-theme, site-home-side | Your theme, and whether the game-types bar is open | Until cleared |
emoji-invaders-muted and other game settings | Sound and similar settings in each game | Until cleared |
Analytics (off unless you allow it)
We use Google Analytics (run by Google) to see which pages and games are popular so we can improve them. It only loads if you allow Analytics in cookie settings. When on, it sets the cookies _ga and _ga_98GY75D5XB, which last up to 2 years. If you switch Analytics off, it stops straight away and we remove those cookies. You can read how Google uses this data at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
Advertising (off unless you allow it)
If we add ads to help keep games free, they will only use cookies if you allow advertising. We don't show ads yet.
Changing your mind
Use "Cookie settings" at the bottom of any page, or the button above. You can also clear your browser's storage for this site, but that will log you out and remove any guest progress saved on this device.
