PHASEHOP

About PHASEHOP

PHASEHOP is a platformer where you hop between two worlds at any moment, even mid-jump. In Brightworld and Darkworld the ground, hazards and enemies are different, so the way forward is always in one world or the other. 50 levels in ten worlds, with a boss at the end of each.

How to play

• Phase Shift between Brightworld and Darkworld whenever you like. Walls and platforms are often solid in only one of them.
• Collect Light Fragments and the three Phase Crystals hidden in each level.
• You have 3 hearts. Phase Beacons are checkpoints and refill your hearts.
• Level 5 of each world is a boss arena. Bosses take 6 to 8 hits, and each one works across both worlds.

Controls

• Computer: A D or ← → to move, Space or W to jump, Shift or X to phase, E to open doors, 1–4 boosts, R back to the last beacon, P pause.
• Phone or tablet: move, jump, PHASE and OPEN buttons on screen.

Worlds

Ten worlds: Sunpetal Meadows, Clockwork Caverns, Upside-Down Woods, Bubble Bay, The Broken City, Frostglass Peaks, Ember Hollow, Starfall Ruins, Storm Spire and The Void. Bosses include The Maw, Professor Blink, The Drowned Eye, The Starwatcher and The Fracture.

Boosts: Phase Shield, Heart Seed, Light Magnet and Drift Feather (glide). The shop also has Pip skins, hats, trails and upgrades such as Vitality and Phase Pulse.

Questions

Is PHASEHOP free?

PHASEHOP unlocks with coins, and you earn coins by playing the free DarkFrame games. No real money is needed. Create a free account to unlock it and keep your progress on every device.

Can I play PHASEHOP on my phone?

Yes. PHASEHOP runs in the web browser on phones, tablets and computers, with touch controls on phones and keyboard controls on computers.

I'm stuck. What should I try?

Phase. If a wall blocks you or a gap looks too wide, the other world usually has a way through.

How do I beat The Maw?

Its head is real in Brightworld and its body in Darkworld. Stomp the violet crystals on its back in Darkworld, then get back to Brightworld when the Darkworld arena surges.
