About Gravity Tax
Gravity Tax is a physics puzzle-platformer where every test has a fixed amount of gravity. Drain gravity from a crate, a lift, a wrecking ball or the water and give it to yourself or something else. Nothing becomes lighter for free.
How to play
- Pick a target, then drain its gravity or give it yours. The total in the room never changes.
- Light things float and you jump higher. Heavy things press switches, smash rated floors and walls, and pin down drones.
- You can hold between 0.2G and 4.0G. Objects under 0.3G float, and lifts weigh everything standing on them, including you.
- The exit stays locked until the test's goal is met. Watch out for lasers, spikes, pistons and sentry drones.
- Each test gives up to 3 stars: clear it, clear it with no deaths, and collect the research chip. Press H for a hint.
Controls
- Computer: A D or ← → to move, W or Space to jump, hold E to drain, hold F to give, Tab or Q to change target, H hint, R reset, P pause.
- Mouse or touch: click or tap an object to target it. Phones get ◀ ▶, jump, DRAIN, GIVE, target, hint and reset buttons.
Worlds
24 tests in six sectors: Gravity Lab, Freight Complex, Reactor Works, Hydro Facility, Orbital Station and Structural Test. Clear every test in a sector to open the next, or buy it with coins.
Boosts: Stabiliser, Long Reach, Beacon and Shield. The shop also has six suits, upgrades such as Flow Rate and Reach, beam colours and helmet lights.
