About Emoji Invaders
Emoji Invaders is a free retro shooter in the style of Space Invaders. Blast waves of marching emoji across ten worlds, from Smiley Suburbs to Dragon Realm, and beat an emoji boss at the end of each one.
How to play
- Move your ship left and right and shoot the invaders before they reach you. If they reach your ship, the game ends at once.
- Each world has five waves, and wave 5 is a boss with a health bar.
- You start with 3 lives and can hold up to 6. Catch falling power-ups: extra life, rapid fire, freeze, laser sweep and shield.
- Each wave earns up to 3 stars: clear it, take no hits, and clear it quickly.
Controls
- Computer: ← → or A D to move, Space to shoot (hold to keep firing), 1–4 for boosts, P to pause, M to mute.
- Phone or tablet: use the ◀ ▶ buttons or drag to move, hold 💥 to fire, tap a boost on the left.
Worlds
Ten worlds: Smiley Suburbs, Food Fight Nebula, Spooky Sector, Jungle Planet, Robo Galaxy, Deep Sea Drift, Frostbite Fields, Stadium Showdown, Music Mayhem and Dragon Realm. Each adds a twist, such as ghosts that phase, dive-bombers, armoured robots or icy controls. Endless mode opens after Dragon Realm.
The shop has 12 emoji pilots, boosts, upgrades for your power-ups, new worlds, bullet styles and engine glows.

- Beat the current world's boss, or buy the world in the shop with coins.
