About Coffee Shop Tycoon
Coffee Shop Tycoon is an idle café management game. Start with a tiny street coffee stand and 50 coins, serve customers, upgrade your machines and menu, hire staff and grow your business into six shops, up to a luxury rooftop café overlooking the city.
How to play
- Customers walk in, queue at the counter and show their order in a thought bubble. At first, tap a waiting customer to take their order. Once you hire a Barista, orders are taken for you.
- Your staff make each drink and dish on its machine, hand it over and take payment. Coins fly into your balance, and happy customers sometimes tip.
- Spend coins in Upgrades: machines work faster and change look at levels 10, 25 and 50; food upgrades raise prices; décor brings in more customers.
- Every customer has a patience meter. Serve them quickly to keep your reputation high, because higher reputation brings more customers.
- Open the next shop from Goals once your current shop's upgrade score and your coins both reach the target. Old shops keep earning while you are away, and your cafés earn for up to 2 hours while the game is closed.
- Watch for golden customers (they pay five times as much), VIPs, food critics and 30-second rush hours.
Controls
- Mouse or touch: tap customers to take orders, tap delivery parcels for bonus coins, and use the bottom bar for Shop, Upgrades, Staff, Goals and Map.
- Keyboard: U upgrades, S staff, G goals, M map, 1–4 boosts, P or Esc pause.
Shops
Six shops: Street Coffee Stand, Cosy Corner Café, City Coffee House, Beachside Café, Japanese Coffee House and Luxury Skyline Café. Each one adds new food and drinks (from espresso and croissants to matcha, mochi and opera cake), new machines and more customers.
The café runs on your DarkFrame coins: sales go into the same wallet you use in every game and the site shop, and upgrades are paid from it. The in-game store also sells barista outfits, boosts (Double Shot, Rush Hour, Golden Guest, Tip Jar), lasting perks and café pets.
